PLED Open LED Protectors

Littelfuse PLED Open LED Protectors provide a switching electronic shunt path when an LED in an LED array fails as an open circuit, ensuring the entire array of LEDs will continue to function even if a single LED in the array does not. These LED protection devices are compatible with 1W, 2W, and 3W LEDs that have a nominal 3V forward characteristic. The protectors are available in a variety of package types, including QFN and DO-214 surface-mount packages, SOT-89, and the small form factor Powermite® package. Littelfuse PLED Open LED Protectors offer reliable lighting functions in applications such as headlights, aircraft, aircraft runway lighting, roadside warning lights, and more.

PLED Ultra Low Holding Current Series

Littelfuse PLED Ultra-Low Holding Current Series exhibits a low holding current parameter that makes it compatible with LED lighting strings. The PLED series provides switching electronic characteristics for a fluorescent tube replacement by an LED string. This helps to make the Fluorescent ballast and LED string compatible with each other and ensures the ballast will be able to activate the LED string, especially for those ballast that need a high voltage output detection during ignition. The Littelfuse PLED ultra-low IH makes the LED driver widely used in the output of fluorescent tubes a compatible direct replacement for indoor and outdoor LED lighting strings.
