3M Electronic Specialty Poly-Vinyl Water-Soluble Wave Solder Tape 5414 has alcohol-backing and synthetic water-soluble adhesive. This water-soluble tape is for use in masking gold finger areas on printed circuit boards during wave soldering. The tape leaves no adhesive residue after removal and humidity extremes do not affect the tape properties.
