Amphenol Industrial RADSOK® Power Bus Amphe-PD™ Connectors

Amphenol RADSOK® Power Bus Amphe-PD™ Connectors distribute high-current DC power in a compact design. The connectors enable wire-to-wire, wire-to-board, and bus bar terminations for 12AWG to 4AWG wires. The components employ the proprietary RADSOK® stamped hyperbolic contact technology for high amperage, low t-rise, low resistance, low mating forces, and longer life cycles. The Amphe-PD™ connectors generate more processing power with less heat than a similar-sized connector.

Amphe-PD™ features a molded socket shell or a dual-position TUV “touch-proof” with a V0 rating. The Amphenol Amphe-PD™ series was developed with the ability to connect to wires, busbars, and circuit boards. The provided flexibility allows the connectors to be used in data centers, robotics, and industrial automation applications.

Several different plastic receptacle-mounting variations are available. The two-position, 3.6mm RADSOK® is rated at 70A and the two-position 5.7mm version is capable of carrying 120A continuously. This design has crimp contacts in the plug and a receptacle with a crimp barrel for 4AWG wire. Amphe-PD Connectors also feature a robust, high-temperature housing for SMT processing with an integrated latching mechanism for secure mating. These connectors meet RoHS, UL-94V-0, and IEC finger-touch-safe requirements.
