Analog Devices Inc. AD8226 Instrumentation Amplifiers

Analog Devices Inc. AD8226 Instrumentation Amplifiers work with a variety of signal voltages, set any gain between 1 and 1000, and only require only one external resistor. The amplifiers operate on power supply ranges from ±1.35V to ±18V for dual supplies and 2.2V to 36V for single supply. With its wide input range and rail-to-rail output, AD8226 amplifiers enable the signal to make full use of the supply rails. In addition to its wide operating range, the AD8226 can handle voltages beyond the rails.

Analog Devices AD8226 can amplify small signals near ground without requiring dual supplies due to its input range’s ability to extend below the negative supply. The amplifiers also specify minimum as well as maximum input bias currents to facilitate open wire detection.

AD8226’s inputs connect to real-world sensors. The AD8226 is ideal for multi-channel, space-constrained industrial applications. As opposed to other low-cost, low-power instrumentation amplifiers, the AD8226 has a minimum gain of 1 and can handle ±10V signals. Available in MSOP package with a +125°C temperature rating, the AD8226 amplifiers provide excellent performance in tightly packed, zero airflow designs.
