Bourns P-TCO-U Polymeric Thermal Cutoff Devices are designed to protect USB-C™ cables from destructive and potentially dangerous thermal runaway events and come in a compact 1210 footprint. Bourns P-TCO-U offers compact, ultra-low resistance thermal protection to guard against potentially hazardous runaway events. P-TCO-U devices feature a 12V maximum operating voltage rating and a 50A maximum operating current rating and come in three different models designed to protect six different temperature-current combinations. The ultra-low resistance materials used in the P-TCO family enable the P-TCO-U series to achieve initial resistance values as low as 2mΩ and post-trip resistance values as low as 14mΩ, allowing these devices to attain current carrying capabilities as high as 4.5A.Features
