T-Series Logic Level Triacs

STMicroelectronics T-Series Logic Level Triacs are used for the on/off or phase angle control function in general purpose AC switching. Both immunity (dV/dt) and commutation capability (dI/dt)c are specified, as well as the low gate current. The 10mA gate current helps optimize the power supply and allows direct drive capability through a single resistance between the microcontroller and the Triac. In addition, the trade-off of ITSM versus immunity and commutation capability is improved. UL certified insulation rated at 1500Vrms, the T-Series Logic Level Triacs are well-suited for motor control circuits, small home appliances, lighting, inrush current limiting circuits, and overvoltage crowbar protection.
