Insight SiP ISP4520 Series Smart LoRa® & BLE 5 Module
Insight SiP ISP4520 Series Smart LoRa® and BLE 5 Module is designed to quickly and easily add wireless connectivity to applications. The ISP4520 Module combines the short-range high throughput capability and easy access of BLUETOOTH® Low Energy (BLE) with the long-range features of LoRaWAN® in a compact 9.8mm x 17.2mm x 1.7mm package. The Module also integrates antennas for BLE and LoRa transmission, enabling the device to be a pre-certified complete radio and application core solution.
The BLE part of the ISP4520 is based on the Nordic Semiconductor nRF52832 System-on-Chip. Processing power is provided by the Arm® Cortex®-M4F Processor integrated into the nRF52832 device, with 512K of Flash memory available for advanced applications. The Semtech SX1261 (for EU and AS versions) or SX1262 (for US version) provide the LoRa radio functionality. A full set of interfaces are supplied, including 30 GPIOs, an Analog to Digital Converter (ADC), and SPI, I2C, and UART buses.
The Insight SiP ISP4520 Module is ideal for battery-based applications with a range of deep-sleep modes and a standby current as low as 0.5µA.
